Praise the Glory

Why did they take my Lord away
Nailed Him to a cross to die
“Forgive them, they know not what they do”
I heard my Jesus cry
Now I’m walking to His tomb on this third day
And an angel says to me “Don’t be afraid”
Then the stone is rolled away
But I see no one inside
My God’s alive

They could not see, they could not understand
The Lamb of God, the Son of Man
Led astray by unbelieving minds
They judged Him guilty of a baseless crime
But we were there to see it all unfurl
Now we will go and tell the world

The greatest story that could ever be
Now you faith will join you to His legacy

Listen to this tale of wonder, my friends
His promise of a life that will not end
We stood in His presence and I touched His hand
This Jesus, He is not an ordinary man
Now go, tell the people, tell all you can
Jesus came to this Earth to save every land
And if they question, if they doubt or deny
Remind them we saw it with our own two eyes
